    Raspberry Smoothie Benefits

    Facts About the Ingredients

Raspberries may look cute, but don’t let that fool you. These little guys are nutrient powerhouses packed with potassium for a healthy heart, omega-3 fatty acids to lower the risk of heart attack and stroke, and manganese to maintain strong bones and regulate blood sugar.

You can even make a smoothie with bananas and raspberries to get an extra boost of potassium.

And that’s not all! Raspberries are also rich in fiber, which can help control blood pressure, cholesterol, and sugar levels. Plus, their low sugar content and natural sweetness make them the perfect guilt-free ingredient. The force is strong with these berries…

But let's not let raspberries hog the spotlight. Plain Greek yogurt adds a protein punch while providing bone-strengthening calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus. It's also great for gut health and makes for the perfect post-workout snack.

Looking for a raspberry smoothie with yogurt? We gotcha, fam.

    Raspberry Smoothie Substitutions

Switch it up by swapping yogurt for vanilla ice cream, or by using your favorite plant-based milk for a vegan twist. You can even add chocolate or protein powder for an extra kick of flavor and energy. After all, wariety is the spice of life!

One of the best things about raspberries is that they go well with pretty much anything. Don’t believe us? Try our mango raspberry smoothie recipe and see for yourself.

What other fruits can I add to a raspberry smoothie?
