We are blending up some frozen chaitinis to welcome the sun! It’s time to say hello to frozen drinks. Whip out your blendjet and make this delicious recipe!

INGREDIENTS

  • water

    2 cups (480 ml)

  • Loose black tea leaves

    2-3 tsp

  • oat or soy milk

    ½ cup (160 ml)

  • brown sugar

    to taste

  • Whole Spices and Aromatics

    N/A

  • Whole green cardamom

    4-5

  • Black peppercorns

    2-3

  • whole clove

    4-5

  • cinnamon

    1 stick

  • fresh ginger

    1-inch

  • 1 serving 22 oz

    Instructions

    1. Start by crushing your whole spices in a mortar and pestle.
    2. Then add the sliced ginger to the mortar and crush that as well.
    3. Add the spices and aromatics to a pan with water in it and bring to a boil.
    4. Once it starts boiling, add the tea leaves and bring down the heat.
    5. Let it get to the strength of infusion you want, and turn off the heat.
    6. Let the chai cool down completely and then pour it into an ice-cube tray and freeze.
    7. Once you are ready to make the frozen chaitini, take out the ice and add it to your blendjet.
    8. Pour ½ cup of soy/oat milk into the blendjet as well and blend.
    9. Pour it into 2 martini glasses.
    10. Garnish with a dust of cinnamon and cinnamon sticks. Enjoy!
