Instructions
If using fresh broccoli and frozen, boil it first. Bring a pot of water to boil, add the chopped broccoli, and cook for about 2-3 minutes until its bright green and slightly tender
Drain well and pat dry with paper towels. - Now using BlendJet 2 grind boiled broccoli, peas, chillies and water into a thick paste
Take about 2-3 tablespoons of the mixture and form it into patties, about 1/2 inch thick. You should get around 8-10 patties depending on size. Then coat the patties with breadcrumbs
Heat 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place the patties in the skillet (you may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your skillet)
cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
Once cooked, transfer the broccoli patties to a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil. Serve warm as a side dish or a vegetarian main course
They can be served with a dipping sauce like marinara sauce, yogurt sauce, or aioli. Enjoy your homemade broccoli patties!
