  • rice flour

    150 g

  • ground turmeric powder

    1 tsp

  • beetroot

    1/4

  • salt

    1/2 tsp

  • coconut milk

    150 ml

  • beer (or sub with soda water)

    200 ml

  • scallions

    4 stalks

  • oil

    for frying

  • tofu

    200 g

  • mushroom of choice

    150 g

  • bean sprouts

    100 g

  • lettuce, coriander, and mint

    optional

  • Vietnamese dipping sauce

    for dipping

  • soy sauce/vegan fish sauce

    2 tbsp

  • warm water

    2 tbsp

  • lime

    juice of 1

  • sugar

  • mini chili & garlic

    3 cloves and 1 Thai chili

    Instructions

    1. Blend beets and water in your BlendJet. Set aside in a bowl
    2. Add rice flour, coconut milk, beer, scallions, and salt
    3. Add some toppings to your pan, then pour a thin layer of beet mixture and add more toppings
    4. Cover and steam for 5 minutes or until the bottom is crispy
    5. Enjoy!
