Dear BlendJet Customer,
We want to ensure that you know BlendJet Inc. is voluntarily recalling certain BlendJet 2 portable blenders.
We have determined that the bases in certain older blenders can overheat or catch fire and the blades can break, posing fire and laceration hazards to consumers. BlendJet 2 units subject to this safety recall were distributed from approximately October 2020 through November 2023.
BlendJet has voluntarily undertaken this safety recall effort and we strongly encourage you to participate if you have not already done so.
Our records indicate that you may have purchased a blender covered by this recall.
How Are We Making This Right?
Consumers who have a recalled BlendJet 2 should immediately stop using the blender and follow the steps below to obtain a free replacement base and matching lid.
Is My Unity Affected?
You can easily check if you have a recalled BlendJet 2 by entering the serial number of your unit into the “Is my BlendJet 2 recalled?” tool located at www.blendjet.com/safetyandrecall. The Serial Number is on the bottom of the base of the product. For Serial Numbers with the first 4 digits between 5201-5542, please use the website tool to learn if the unit is being recalled for safety reasons (some units with serial numbers in that range are not recalled). Units starting with 5543 and above are not subject to this safety recall.
At BlendJet, we design our innovative products with quality and care to help our dedicated customers make and consume healthy food on the go. We take the safety of you and your family seriously. This safety recall will help eliminate potential incidents involving older BlendJet 2 blenders.
Thank you for being a valued customer and for participating in this safety recall. We apologize for any inconvenience this situation may cause you.
