DIY Popsicles: Summer Popsicle Pick-Me-Up

BlendJet 2 held with a popsicle

Popsicles are always a good idea. Why buy the boxed kind when you can create your own DIY popsicles with exciting flavor combos like delicious fresh fruit, yogurt and juice?

Since 2020 is seeing a return to baking, homemaking and cordless shaking, we teamed up with Jen Selter to whip up some easy smoothie-on-a-stick popsicle recipes you can easily blend at home, any time with your BlendJet. Rounding out our all-time favorite: red, white and blueberry, banana nice cream, and signature JetPops.

How to Make Smoothies-on-a-Stick

There’s no need to make a grocery list to tackle your next DIY popsicle project, just browse the produce aisle with an eye for all things colorful and ripe. You can’t go wrong with fresh strawberries, blueberries and bananas or even papaya, kiwi, pomegranate and chia seeds or chocolate chips. Just add juice, yogurt, ice cream or our ready-to-blend JetPack smoothie mix, then pour into a popsicle mold and place it in the freezer. Our kind of popsicle is like a piñata for your palette.

Depending on your mood, frozen popsicles make a healthy snack, low-cal dessert or quickie breakfast. Bonus: they can quiet a fussy toddler in a pinch. Take BlendJet popsicles on moonlight walks, eat them in the bathtub, or surprise your fam at your next backyard barbeque. This is your chance to have fun and get creative without fail — you can freeze your favorite smoothie or shake, even cocktails to make the everyday pop!

These DIY popsicles are the perfect frozen summer sweet treat. Read this BlendJet blog for our favorite popsicle recipes that you can make with our JetPacks.
