Carrots and Cumin
1 cup chopped carrots
¼ cup breastmilk or water
½ teaspoon cumin
Steam 1 cup of chopped carrots in a steamer basket on the stove or in the microwave in a microwave-safe dish until softened. Add ¼ cup breast milk or water along with carrots and 1 teaspoon cumin. Blend for 3-4 cycles until smooth. Once your mixture is smooth, portion into 1-ounce servings. All of these homemade baby food recipes can be frozen or refrigerated until ready to serve.
Cauli Curry
1 cup chopped cauliflower
¼ cup breastmilk or water
½ teaspoon yellow curry powder
Steam 1 cup of cauliflower until softened , and add it to your BlendJet baby food blender. Add ¼ cup breast milk or water and ½ teaspoon yellow curry powder. Blend for 3-4 cycles until smooth. Portion into 1-ounce servings and freeze or refrigerate until ready to serve.
Basil n’ Broccoli
1 cup chopped broccoli
¼ cup breastmilk or water
1 teaspoon dried basil
Steam 1 cup of broccoli until softened. Add ¼ cup breast milk or water along with broccoli and 1 teaspoon dried basil. Blend for 3-4 cycles until smooth. Portion into 1-ounce servings and freeze or refrigerate until ready to serve.
Pear-ly Ginger
1 cup sliced pear
¼ cup breastmilk or water
¼ teaspoon fresh ginger
Steam 1 cup of sliced pear with the skin removed, until softened, and add it to your BlendJet baby food blender. Add ¼ cup breast milk or water and 1/4 teaspoon of fresh ginger. Blend for 3-4 cycles until smooth. Portion into 1-ounce servings and freeze or refrigerate until ready to serve.
Sweet n’ Cinnamony Potatoes
1 cup chopped sweet potatoes
¼ cup breastmilk or water
½ teaspoon cinnamon
Steam 1 cup of chopped sweet potatoes with the skin removed, until softened. Add ¼ cup breast milk or water along with sweet potatoes and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Blend for 3-4 cycles until smooth. Portion into 1-ounce servings and freeze or refrigerate until ready to serve.
